Our prenatal Childbirth Preparation, Hypnobirthing®, and Active Birth Courses delivered in a supportive and pleasant environment by our experienced Midwives will prepare you and your partner, for a positive, calm, and empowering birth experience.
We share evidence-based, up-to-date information and videos to enable you to make informed choices. This includes breathing techniques, positional exercises for pregnancy/labour and care of the newborn skills. Our Birth Doula can provide you with vital support before, during, and after the birth of your baby. Postnatally, feeding and caring for your baby will be utmost in your mind. If you choose to breastfeed, our IBCLC Lactation Consultants are here for you. We provide Sleep consultations.

Sam Blakey is an internationally certified personal trainer, core specialist and women’s health coach. She is also a pre & post-natal pilates teacher and one of only eight senior UKHypopressives instructors. She ran award winning fitness company Ooberfit in Singapore for six years and since returning to the U.K four years ago has focused on working with women with abdominal separation, bladder and prolapse issues, and weak pelvic floor muscles.
Since the pandemic started, Sam has moved largely online, enabling her to continue working with clients in Singapore, across the UK and elsewhere.
The bulk of her work is spent teaching Hypopressives - a series of low pressure exercises, postures and breathing techniques designed to safely work your core, help recruit the pelvic floor and aid postural training, all wrapped up into a neatly flowing routine. BumpWise is led by Singapore’s most experienced birth doulas,
Deanna Kearns and Johanna Wagner, who have been working with families for over 20 years and supported more than 700 births. We offer birth & postpartum doula services, antenatal classes (including birth partner boot camp and refresher classes) privately and in groups, pregnancy & birth consults, and many opportunities to connect with other parents and meet experts in the perinatal period.
We created BumpWise to support parents in a crucial phase of their lives. While we do charge for our doula services and classes, there are no fees to access to our incredible BumpWise community - allowing parents to benefit from free talks by experts in our extensive network, as well as from the social support the groups give 24/7.
Deanna & Johanna are also founding members of Doulas of Singapore, where they have been serving on the Executive Committee since its inception in 2015, providing training and mentorship to the doula community.
They also volunteer at various other local charities like Safe Place, a local non-profit organization that empowers women and families with unsupported pregnancies, and the Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group of Singapore..
